Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and Vigente. By using the app or the web pass you accept them.

The service

Vigente helps gyms run memberships: who paid, who owes and who is at the door, with a QR pass for every member. We are not a bank or a payment processor: money goes straight from members to the gym and Vigente takes no fee on those payments.

Your account

You sign in with a code sent to your phone or email. Keep your phone and email secure, because whoever has them can get into your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

If you run a gym

You are responsible for the member data you enter and for having their permission, for correct prices and payout details and for what you agree with your members. Your staff can charge and scan on your behalf.

The statuses Vigente shows are worked out from the payments you record. Check that what you confirm as paid actually arrived.

Subscription

Vigente is free for up to 10 active members per gym. To add more, the owner buys the Vigente monthly subscription in the app, at the price shown before purchase.

Payment is charged to your Apple or Google Play account. The subscription renews every month unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends, in your Apple or Google Play account settings. Refunds follow Apple’s or Google’s policies.

If the subscription ends, your gym keeps working: you can charge, scan and see every member. You just can’t add more than 10.

Fair use

Don’t use Vigente for anything illegal, to harass others, to get into other people’s accounts or to disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability

We work to keep Vigente running, even offline at the door, but we can’t promise it will never fail. We may change or improve features over time.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Vigente is not liable for indirect losses or for decisions you make based on the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Vigente in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer.

Changes and governing law

If these terms change we publish them here and, if the change matters, we tell you in the app.
